(VIDEO) LUNCH WITH A VERY FAMOUS PLAYWRIGHT

Back in the days when Emily was working as an actress, John Cullum and Emily were in love with the idea of doing "Night of the Iguana."  John liked the idea of tackling the role Richard Burton played,

John thought Emily would be wonderful in Deborah Karr's role .

What a meeting it was --drinks, lunch and chatting with Tennessee Williams.

I love it when you tell stories about your fascinating life together! Have you considered writing an autobiography and sharing more such stories? I know I'd buy it! :)

Wow! I am truly impressed. Tennessee Williams and Eugene O'Neil are my 2 favorite playwrights of that generation.

Em and John on Broadway, in The Night of the Iguana!

I love it!

What a fun and interesting video about your luncheon date with Tennessee Williams. How exciting and memorable for you and JC. I would have loved to see this performance on Broadway with you both in it. Thanks for sharing this!

Interesting story, I never heard of a Tennessee Williams, I looked him up. He sounded rude to you, but then John said he had offered you the parts in the play. You two are more funny and interesting in a good way then any one I have read about.
You do have topics that keep my attention. I am learning from you all, believe it or not. Em, you all take care, tell John Happy Father's day. Em, I am getting attached to you through social media, and your blogs. You two take care of your self, stay healthy. Keep up the wonderful blogs.
